Directions from the park service
The park is easily accessible by car from all directions. A good place to start your visit is at Boston Mill Visitor Center: 6947 Riverview Road, Peninsula, 44264. Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Akron-Canton Regional Airport offer many daily flights to the area. Car rentals are available at both airports. Bus stations are located in downtown Cleveland and Akron. Some local bus routes including RTA's 19A, 54, 77, and 90 routes stop near the park. There is an Amtrak station in downtown Cleveland.
Hours
Open 24 hours, every day. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is open everyday, 24 hours a day with the following exceptions: Brandywine Falls, Ledges, Octagon, Kendall Lake, and Kendall Hills close from dusk until morning opening.
Visitor centers
- [Hunt House](): Closed. Hunt House may be open as staffing allows, between Memorial Day and Labor Day. It is closed for the rest of the year.
- [Boston Mill Visitor Center](): Daily, 9:30AM - 5:00PM. The Boston Mill Visitor Center is open year-round except for New Years Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas holidays. Call 440-717-3890 for details.
- [Canal Exploration Center](): Mon Closed; Tue Closed; Wed 10:00AM - 4:00PM; Thu 10:00AM - 4:00PM; Fri 10:00AM - 4:00PM; Sat 10:00AM - 4:00PM; Sun 10:00AM - 4:00PM. The summer season typically begins in June and ends after Labor Day weekend. Canal Exploration Center has limited hours in the spring and fall and closes for the winter season.

Getting around
Most parks are best seen by car. Fill up before you enter, since gas inside parks is limited or absent. Parking at popular trailheads fills early in summer.
